RMQ-111D protects the generator in parallel operation against overheating damage due to slip frequency caused by current flow. At the same time, the release of reactive power from a faulty generator is prevented.

RMQ-121D is used to protect a generator in paralysis against over-excitation and prevents the generation of excessively high currents at high inductive loads. The RMQ-121D thus protects the generator from damage due to overheating of the windings. At the same time, the delivery of reactive power to a faulty generator is prevented.
